As Kent’s longest established IT Support company we take great interest in our growing community and were keen to partner with a Maidstone based charity.  We considered three local charities and after much discussion we decided in February, as a team, to sponsor Kent Association for the Blind.

‘Kent association for the blind services support thousands of people across Kent and the surrounding areas to improve their lives and enable them to live independently. During our 99 years of support we’ve gathered a wealth of experience and expertise. We’re committed to delivering quality and driving improvement informed by learning from the feedback we capture.

We make an impact in so many ways; from our rehabilitation services to providing training to healthcare professionals and assistive technology support. Our robust evaluations demonstrates how we positively change lives.

Through our breadth of services, we support people with sight loss to live independent lives, promote inclusion and reduce isolation. With our advice and guidance we can help people get back to doing day to day activities and the things they enjoy; reading, cooking or even starting a new hobby and meeting new friends.

Charities like these really need your help right now! Fundraisers are being postponed or cancelled leaving them and the people they offer a vital lifeline for vulnerable!  If you can help please make a donation here.

 

We were planning on joining them at various fundraising events throughout the year as well as a couple of fundraising events of our own to support them.  Given the current Corona Virus outbreak we have also had to postpone these events until further notice.

Due to the current pandemic many businesses are having to change the way they work if at all possible.  We have been working extremely hard, from home, these past two weeks to ensure that our customers are set up fro remote working.  If you need any help, advice and assistance with this please do not hesitate to contact us.
